We had hoped that postponing the work party by a week would allow our intended work site to fully thaw and dry out, but that, alas, has not happened. Our plan was to complete the reroute around the Fontaine Research Park, but sections of the new trail are still covered in snow and ice plowed off the adjacent parking lots, and this week's rain hasn't helped. The Saturday weather forecast looks to be ideal (the monthly walk, from CHS to Locust, is still on!), but conditions as the work site are not safe for wielding tools.

With regret, we are cancelling for this month, and will try again the second week of March!
