Please join us for our monthly work party. We will be working this month to maintain the trail segment between Stribling Avenue Extended and Sunset Avenue. We will be clearing a long section of grassy-shrubby overgrowth and resurrecting a washed-out rock hop.
If you want to help with the clearing, please bring the following tools, if you have them: long-handled loppers, string trimmers, field & brush mower, safety gear, and gloves. Don't worry if you don't know what a trimmer or brush mower is--we also need dozens of people with clippers in hand. (And, if you don't have any tools to bring, we'll have our own supply available.) If you want to help with the rock hop, we will be in a stream, and you will get wet! The water will be 8 to 14" deep depending on the next few days' weather. Wear shorts and shoes or boots that can get wet, and bring a long pry bar if you have one. We also welcome ideas and deep strength for moving hefty rocks.
Meet at the RTF Tool Shed at
2030 Morton Drive
